The Refugee Collective Farm and Studio provide fair wage jobs for refugees in areas where they bring great interest and expertise along with the opportunity to learn and advance in their careers.聽 The Refugee Collective鈥檚 blended financial model of philanthropy and earned revenue creatively engages donors\, chefs\, businesses\, designers and the larger Austin community with a shared impact of supporting our newest neighbors. \nMeg has a background in conservation biology (fun fact- she was the Texas Bat Biologist for Texas Parks and Wildlife in the early 2000s) and nonprofit management.
